Snow celebrates my blog’s first birthday

I see the snow fall today as an unexpected gift for my blog’s first birthday. Today last year, December 1, 2011, I started building my bilingual blog at maingocchau.com to share my journey in America. Time flew so fast. 365 days went by and I have had many readers who said they have followed my blog. THANK YOU so much for loving maingocchau.com. I have done my best to improve my blog to make it more catchy and informative, and I welcome any comment to help me make it better. You know, one of the first things I want to do whenever I have time is to share so enjoyable and unforgettable experiences of mine to everyone on this site. I wish I always have more time for my blog because there are still so many stories untold.

Now I’m sitting in my room on a small beige-colored wooden table right next to the opened window, blogging and enjoying the snow falling outside. I let the window stay open because I want to enjoy the shivering cold brought by the snowing. The snowing is growing thicker.

For the last two weeks, I’ve been too busy to update the weather forecast, so I didn’t know the snowing until I got up in the middle of this morning and opened my window. I can’t believe in my eyes. It’s so fantastic and more fantastic especially when today is the first-year anniversary of maingocchau.com. The falling snow is blanketing outside, not too much but is enough for me to get excited.

It is the first snowing in my current town and make me just want to stay put at the end of this semester. No words can express my love for snow. It isn’t the first snow I ever see but it is the first now I see in Quincy, which is nicknamed as a town of American presidents. The weather forecast says the snowing will last until tomorrow and next week, the weather is expected to be milder with the temperature ranging from 2 to 13 degrees Celsius.

Though it is so cold (-2 degrees Celsius), I couldn’t stop myself running outside to enjoy the snow flake falling. Hope you enjoy it with me:

I need to get back to work now. Thank you SNOW for giving me more inspiration, more energy and more joy to work on the final essay and the final feature. Only 12 hours left before the deadline.

HAPPY SNOWING 2012

HAPPY BIRTH TO MAINGOCCHAU.COM!
